Paying with bankpay at a till is quick, secure, and hassle-free.
Follow these simple steps to complete your transaction using a QR code.

1. Open the Bankpay App

Ensure you have the Bankpay app installed and logged in on your phone.

2. Select the Scan & Pay Option

From the home screen, tap on the scan icon (middle button on the navigation) to activate your phone’s camera.

3. Scan the Merchant’s QR Code

Position your camera over the QR code displayed at the till. The app will automatically recognise the payment request.

4. Choose Your Connected Account

If you have already linked a bank account, select it to proceed with the payment.

• If you haven’t linked an account yet, you’ll need to do so before completing the payment. Learn how to link your bank account.

5. Confirm and Authenticate Payment

Review the payment details and confirm the transaction.

• Authenticate using your bank’s security method (e.g., fingerprint, PIN, or facial recognition).

6. Payment Complete

Once authenticated, the payment will be processed instantly. You and the merchant will receive a confirmation.
